Child Study Center Grand Rounds: "Harnessing the Power of Big Data: Precision Medicine Approaches from the Bench to the Bedside and Beyond"
There is a need to educate clinicians about Precision Medicine methodologies and application to individual patients, as well as the collation and analysis of data across clinical cohorts. This seminar will present different aspects of the Precision Medicine approach, including the utilization of genetic and systems biology studies to inform basic research, the application of molecular genetic diagnosis to a clinical case, and the creation of secure translational research platforms
