Biography
Dr. Carr received his anesthesiology training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Cooper University Hospital in the physician-scientist track. He proceeded to complete a critical care medicine fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and subsequently board certified in anesthesiology, critical care medicine and advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. He then joined the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and spent five years practicing anesthesiology, critical care medicine and research. He subsequently moved to Connecticut, where he practiced anesthesiology and critical care at the University of Connecticut, John Dempsey Hospital and the Hartford Hospital prior to joining Yale in May of 2020.
