Biography

Dr. Mishra has focused his interest on stroke medicine since finishing medical school in 2003. Over the years, his research has significantly contributed to managing acute stroke patients, particularly concerning reperfusion therapy.  He is the co-convenor of the International Post-Stroke Epilepsy Research Consortium (IPSERC) and sits on the editorial board of Neurology, PLOS One, and Frontiers in Neurology (Stroke).

 

Active Clinical and Research Interests:

1. Biomarker research 

2. Prevention and management of epilepsy in patients suffering from cerebrovascular disorders

3. Prevention and management of Vascular Cognitive Impairment/ Dementia

4. Perfusion imaging

5. Reperfusion stroke therapy
