I was born and raised in Pakistan and got my medical degree from one of the best medical colleges in Pakistan, Army Medical College. After which was followed by internal med residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre , PA. This was followed by a 5 year stint as an academic hospitalist as well internal medicine residency faculty at Creighron university hospital in Omaha , Nebraska. It was this same hospital where I decided to pursue Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship. During this fellowship i got interested in learning more about sleep medicine as well the pulmonary vascular pathology. This was followed by a sleep medicine fellowship at University of Arizona in Tucson after which I came to Yale to learn more about the complexity of Pulmonary hypertension and vascular diseases.
