Dean Yimlamai, MD, PhD, is a specialist in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology and provides comprehensive care for children with a range of liver conditions.
As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine and member of the Yale Liver Center, Dr. Yimlamai studies the underlying biological mechanisms that influence the progression of liver disease. His research centers on liver development, regeneration, and tumor formation.
Dr. Yimlamai received his medical and doctorate degrees from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric and specialty training at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
