Additionally, Julia is part of the Bioethics Lab in the Program for Biomedical Ethics at the Yale School of Medicine, where she conducts ethical analysis, research methodologies, and critical inquiry to advance the understanding of ethical principles in biomedical sciences and regulatory research on projects investigating the implications of pharmaceutical regulation, clinical trial research, and emerging biotechnologies to inform complex ethical arguments in the decision-making process.

Julia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, NY in June of 2023, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Science, Medicine, and Technology in Culture with Political Science and Law. Prior to joining CORE, CRRIT, CERSI, YODA, and the Bioethics Lab, Julia excelled in the biotech startup field as well as in legal practice as a law clerk, using her strength in civil litigation toward class action lawsuits.

Julia is currently working under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Ross, Dr. Reshma Ramachandran, and Dr. Jennifer Miller to develop and publish research relating to the examining of factors that affect the delivery of care for vulnerable populations and marginalized communities, specifically the chronically ill and immunocompromised, evaluating the impact of state and federal policies on the delivery of care, and addressing issues related to pharmaceutical and medical device regulation congruent with the realignment of incentives for scientific innovation in healthcare.

Julia's primary interests involve bioethics, structural barriers to scientific innovation in drug development, clinical and community advocacy, health policy, and public health mitigation measures, as she is passionate about solving medical disparities and socio-ethical values relating to unique medical treatment and global health regulation.
