Yale Collaboration for Regulatory Rigor, Integrity, and Transparency (CRRIT)

Our Mission

The Yale Collaboration for Regulatory Rigor, Integrity, and Transparency (CRRIT) is an interdisciplinary initiative that conducts strategic research to inform policies to ensure robust evidentiary standards for U.S. Food and Drug Administration-regulated medical products, and to evaluate regulatory enforcement and transparency of current policies. Specifically, Yale CRRIT:

  1. evaluates the quality of the evidence base for medical products that inform their regulatory approval and fulfillment of postmarketing requirements, as well as insurance coverage;
  2. assesses, develops, and advances policy proposals to further strengthen the evidence base for medical products and standards for regulatory approval and insurance coverage; and
  3. promotes oversight and enforcement of existing policies meant to ensure research integrity and transparency.

Ongoing Opportunities

We’re always looking for students, residents, fellows, and others to work with! Please email Michelle Bernabeo, Yale CRRIT’s Program Coordinator if you’re interested in joining the team.
