Collaborative Excellence & Student Engagement
The Office of Collaborative Excellence and Student Engagement (CESE) supports, celebrates, and encourages informative discourse about the differences among our YSM community members; our ultimate goal is to build an inclusive climate that supports and promotes the retention of trainees with a broad range of diverse perspectives and experiences.
CESE hosts a monthly social for medical and PhD BBS students, as well as works with housestaff and faculty organizations and administration to build an engaged and supported community. Email us to find out more about how to join us.

From high school students and early college years all the way through medical students, we want to foster pathways into health care careers.
Medical Student Engagement Groups
The Office of Collaborative Excellence and Student Engagement works directly with medical student engagement groups. All groups are open to all YSM students (MD, PA, and MD-PhD).
