Megan King to Serve as Vice Chair of Faculty Advisory Council

March 29, 2017

Megan King, PhD, associate professor of cell biology, has been elected to serve as vice chair of the Faculty Advisory Council (FAC).

The FAC includes junior and senior faculty members from every department in the School of Medicine who meet regularly with Dean Alpern to explore a broad range of issues that affect faculty.

Todd Constable, PhD, professor of radiology and biomedical imaging and of neurosurgery, chairs the FAC. He succeeds Jeffrey Bender, MD, the Robert I. Levy Professor of Medicine (cardiology) and professor of immunobiology.

“I am delighted that Megan was elected and has agreed to serve as vice chair,” said Constable. “The FAC is indebted to Jeff for his stellar leadership as the first FAC chair and for getting us off on such strong footing. I look forward to continuing to work on the important issues we have identified.”
