The School of Medicine has more than 16,000 living alumni with an ever growing and active alumni engagement program to match the continuing growth of our campus and its alumni population.
Our dedicated staff partners with alumni leaders to create and foster relationships through events, programs, reunions, mentorship, educational travel, lifelong learning opportunities, service, and through collaborations with alumni engagement colleagues in the Graduate School and other professional schools.

Association of Yale Alumni in Medicine (AYAM)
The Association of Yale Alumni in Medicine (AYAM) is comprised of all recipients of the doctor of medicine degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, and those trained as interns, residents, and fellows in Yale’s postgraduate program.Distinguished Alumni Service Award
The Distinguished Alumni Service Award is the Association of Yale Alumni in Medicine’s highest honor, recognizing the work of School of Medicine graduates who have been actively involved in the School since their graduation.
Alumni Fund Agents
Our Alumni Fund agents are a group of dedicated volunteers who set the stage for giving and inspire others to join them in their philanthropy.Reunion Volunteers
Reunion volunteers are an integral part of planning during the reunion year. Reunion program chairs help plan class-specific programs and meals, and help classmates reconnect with one another and Yale in anticipation of the reunion gathering on campus in the spring. Reunion gift volunteers encourage classmates to make a special contribution in honor of the reunion milestone year to support the mission and students of the School.
Alumni Affairs Office
Whether facilitating volunteer efforts, an event, or philanthropic support, the office is dedicated to serving and promoting the interests of current and future alumni, as they pursue their role as leaders in medicine, healthcare delivery, and the biomedical sciences.
