Remote Procedures and COVID Safety

Our Quit Vaping research study is designed with Covid-19 safety as a top priority. This research study is almost entirely remote and will use Zoom video meetings and telephone/texting correspondence.

We will have contactless pick-up/drop-off visits. Research staff will coordinate with teens to find a time when they are home. Study staff will drop study materials (e.g., counseling materials, tablet) in a safe location like a mailbox or front porch, return to the car and wait for your teen to retrieve the materials. In instances that this is not possible, study staff, all of whom are vaccinated, will remain 6 feet away and be masked at all times.
