Yale Center for Clinical Investigation Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day

First launched by Dr. Robert “Bob” S. Sherwin, the inaugural director of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, the Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day is a celebration of the center’s educational programs and the accomplishments of the trainees and scholars at all levels.

Now in its nineteenth year, the YCCI has supported more than 214 junior faculty members. 99 percent of scholars remain engaged in research continuing to successfully compete for independent grants (including 440 NIH grants) worth over $ 1 billion and publishing approximately 9,800 papers.

The successes of the program are a reflection of Dr. Sherwin’s visionary leadership, tremendous dedication, and passion for training the next generation of clinical and translational researchers. Please join us for this year’s combined celebration of the YCCI trainees and Bob’s incredible legacy.

The 2024 keynote speaker is Nancy “Nana” Bennett, MD, MS Professor of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
