With social distancing and restrictions on serving food, we have had to get creative with how to share a meal together! Owner/Executive Chef Avi Szapiro of Roía Restaurant and Cafe in New Haven hosted a virtual cooking class for the first-year students and some upper year students to kick off the new academic year. Avi prepped and provided all ingredients and kits for cocktail, appetizer, dinner and dessert; students cooked together in pairs and triplets -- fun was had by all!!
