Integrated Residents

Welcome to Yale!

We are delighted that you will be joining the Solnit Integrated Residency Program this summer. Most of your orientation activities will take place through the Child Study Center and the Pediatrics Department, but there will be some Adult Program orientation activities that we would like you to attend as well. To that end, please review this web page and be sure to click on each of the three tabs below for some important information. We will send updates as new information is posted.

Housing in the New Haven Area

Those looking for housing may be interested in this link to the Yale Off Campus Housing website. Even without a Yale Net ID, you can still log on by creating a profile, which is quick and easy to do. When asked what your position will be at Yale, just answer “other.” https://housing.yale.edu/

Biographical Sketch

Please prepare a short (300 words or less) biographical sketch which we will circulate to current faculty and residents so they can learn more about you. The biographies of the current residents are shown here. Please provide your bio to Emily Johnson at emily.ann.johnson@yale.edu by May 1.

Intern Health Study

Two former Yale Psychiatry residents, Srijan Sen and Connie Guille, have been working for the last few years on a study at Yale investigating the interaction of genes and stress in the etiology of depression in interns. They are collecting data for the project from over 80 institutions around the US. Many of our interns from prior years have participated in the study and Connie and Srijan are always very appreciative. The study (HUM00033029) is approved and monitored by the Michigan IRB. You should be receiving a study invitation, likely in early April, to inquire if you would be interested in participating in the study.
