Biography
Julie Holub has worked in the field of clinical research since graduating with her B.A. in psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2008. She started her career at Yale as a research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry where she was exposed to many facets of clinical research, including regulatory affairs, grant proposals, budgets, and research coordination. In these early positions Julie's interest in research administration grew and she obtained an MBA in 2021.
In her current position at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, she works on a wide variety of studies helping PIs navigate the regulatory requirements of investigator initiated research and multi-center trials. The Clinical Trial Project Management team is responsible for coordination and oversight of studies throughout the research life cycle from proposal development and budget planning, contract requirements and regulatory set up, to milestone oversight and close out.
