Biography
Dr. Adamowicz received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University (formerly St. Joseph’s College) and her Master’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University. She obtained a second Master’s degree in Psychology and her Doctorate Degree with an emphasis in Clinical Science (Psychology) from the University of Iowa, Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. Dr. Adamowicz completed her predoctoral internship/residency training at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System: West Haven in the clinical health psychology track. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the VA Advanced Fellowship in Women’s Health at the Pain Research, Informatics, Multi-morbidities, and Education (PRIME) Center at VA Connecticut Healthcare System: West Haven, and in the Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Adamowicz was selected to the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science Early Career Mentorship Program (2024-2026) and currently serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science.
