I was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In high school, I developed a passion for understanding the etiology of diseases as well as for applying computational tools to solve biological questions. I continued to explore these interests in my coursework in Statistics and Data Science and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale College as well as in my wonderful research experiences. I am currently interested in pursuing a Ph.D. that focuses on discovering underlying causes for idiopathic diseases.
Outside of school, I am passionate about advocating for women in STEM and medicine and serve as a co-leader for Women in Medicine. I also enjoy being a JCTM for HAVEN, reading, cooking, board gaming, and staying active (swimming, rowing, and hiking).
