The MD-PhD Thesis Prize was awarded to 2 recipients: Alanna Kaplan and Lorenzo Sewanan. This prize is for the most outstanding MD-PhD thesis. The students receiving this prize gave talks on Student Research Day, May 18, 2021.

The MD-PhD Award was awarded to 2 recipients: Sean Bickerton and George Linderman. This prize is awarded to outstanding members of the graduating MD-PhD class who have shown excellence in both research and clinical activities.

The MD-PhD Alumni Award was awarded to 2 recipients: Shivani Bhatt and Don Li. This prize is awarded to a graduating MD-PhD student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, leadership and service.

The Selma and Karl Folkers Prize in Biomedical Research was awarded to two recipients: Swetha Dravida and Jonathan Marquez. This prize is awarded to graduating MD-PhD students whose thesis research have demonstrated excellence in basic cell and molecular biology.
