Yale Instruction/Investigation/Intervention in Emotional Lability and Dysregulation (YIELD)
Instruction
We at YIELD are dedicated to providing education to the various the stakeholders affected by chronic problems of emotional lability and behavioral dysregulation, including mental health professionals and trainees, administrators and policy makers, individuals with lived experience, and family members.
Investigation
YIELD affiliated faculty work to expand the understanding of chronic emotional lability and dysregulation with studies ranging from basic science into issues such social cognition and disinhibition to applied clinical research such as studies bringing Dialectical Behavior Therapy to new settings and populations.
Intervention
YIELD supports efforts to serve those seeking treatment for problems of chronic emotional lability and dysregulation, including our on-line Dialectical Behavior Therapy online Provider Directory, and many experts among our affiliated faculty who work in settings that provide empirically-supported services for Borderline Personality Disorder.
