Biography

Gayle Maloney, PhD, was appointed as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Yale OCD Research Clinic in December 2015 following her position as a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine. Dr Maloney has worked as a clinical psychologist since 2001, and is concurrently the Director of the Perth OCD Clinic in Western Australia.

Dr Maloney has received specialized training from the International OCD Foundation in cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) to treat patients with OCD and related disorders. Dr Maloney's research interests focus on the development and testing of adjunct psychological techniques for treatment refractory OCD, as well as the etiology and treatment of perfectionism.
