Directions
The Yale OCD Research Clinic is based in the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC). CMHC is closely affiliated with Yale University and serves the dual roles of providing mental health care to the needy of the New Haven area and of supporting both basic and clinical psychiatric research. CMHC is located at 34 Park Street New Haven, CT 06519.
Visitor Parking:
Visitor Parking is available in the Air Rights Garage, just one block east of CMHC/Park Street. Enter from York Street. Please bring your garage ticket with you to CMHC to be validated so that you do not have to pay for parking.
Highway Directions
From I-95, traveling North or South:
Take I-95 Exit 47 to Route 34 West. Next, take Route 34 Exit 1 (North Frontage Rd./Martin Luther King Blvd.) Continue straight ahead until you come to the Air Rights Parking Garage (on the left). Validated visitor parking available in Air Rights Garage. Enter the Air Rights Garage from North or South Frontage Roads, or from York Street.
From 1-91 South:
Take I-91 Exit 1 to Route 34 West to Exit 1 North Frontage Rd./Martin Luther King Blvd. Continue straight ahead until you come to the Air Rights Parking Garage on your left. Visitor parking is available in the Air Rights Garage. Enter the Air Rights Garage from North or South Frontage Roads, or from York Street.
From Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rte 15) traveling south:
Take Exit 59 immediately after tunnel. Go right at end of ramp. Merge left onto Whalley Avenue at light. Stay on Whalley until you see signs for Yale-New Haven Hospital at Park Street. Follow hospital signs, then make a left turn onto South Frontage Road. Validated visitor parking available in Air Rights Garage. Enter the Air Rights Garage from North or South Frontage Roads, or from York Street.
From Rte. 15/Merritt Parkway traveling north:
Take Exit 57 to Route 34 East into New Haven. Following Route 34 signs, turn right onto Ella T. Grasso Boulevard/Route 10 and then take left onto Legion Avenue/South Frontage Road. Following Route 34 signs, turn left on York Street and then enter covered Air Rights Garage entrance at 20 York Street (on right). Visitor parking available in Air Rights Garage. Enter from North or South Frontage Roads, or from York Street.
From Rte. 1/Boston Post Road traveling east:
After crossing Ella T. Grasso Boulevard (Route 10), turn left onto Davenport Avenue. When Davenport Avenue crosses Howard Avenue, it becomes York Street and passes Yale New Haven Hospital. Go straight through intersection, passing Dunkin Donuts, and turn right into parking garage before intersection of York Street and North Frontage Road. Validated visitor parking available in Air Rights Garage. Enter the Air Rights Garage from North or South Frontage Roads, or York Street.
