Biography

Arushi Dogra is a graduate of Yale University and the Yale School of Public Health, with a BA in English and an MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences, concentrating in Global Health. Passionate about infectious disease epidemiology, vaccine advocacy, community-based programming, and health communication, her work spans health activism, education, and implementation for marginalized populations in domestic and global contexts. Her previous research focuses include infectious disease outcomes in rural regions, community-based food prescription programs, and molecular biology interests such as immunology and immunotherapy. As part of the Yildirim Lab, Arushi is investigating recent advances in research on penicillin prophylaxis against invasive pneumococcal disease to inform modern clinical guidelines, and she is the primary data analyst for the multi-site SIGNAL study on pediatric pneumococcal colonization.
