Ursula C. Brewster, MD, treats patients with chronic kidney disease and kidney inflammation, including young adults and pregnant women with kidney disease or hypertension.
“It is an exciting time to be in nephrology,” Dr. Brewster says. “Science and medicine are rapidly moving forward across all areas of study. There are a lot of new developments enhancing our understanding of this process that could lead to new therapies for patients I see who are pregnant with high blood pressure or kidney problems.”
Dr. Brewster is an associate professor of medicine (nephrology) at Yale School of Medicine. Her research interests are largely focused on the hemodialysis patient population.
