Yale Child Study Center's "Fathers for Change" Basic Training
A Two-Day Online Interactive Training (9 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET)
The Fathers for Change (F4C) Basic Training is provided by F4C developer Carla Stover, Harris Professor at Yale Child Study Center. This is an online interactive training for clinicians with a minimum of a master's degree (MSW, MFT, PhD, etc.).
The two-day virtual training covers the background and theory of F4C, along with a thorough review of the intervention, from assessment through four phases of the treatment. Participants engage in discussion and join breakout rooms to learn skills.
Clinicians will leave this training able to deliver F4C with their clients. Those who elect to register for and complete 24 consultation calls (two calls per month for 12 months) will be considered fully trained and rostered in F4C.
