Task Force on Education

The Education and Learning Environment Task Force aims to better equip educators and trainees to identify and address racism and inequities that impact health outcomes and the learning environment within obstetrics and gynecology.

Our past and current initiatives include:

• Completion of needs assessment of health equity education curriculum among faculty and residents
  
• Implementation of a health equity curriculum for residents that consists of:
  • an Introduction lecture to our patient population with focus on health equity
  • Bi-annual health equity journal club meetings
  • Annual health equity workshops
