Biography

Dr. Chiaramonte is a Community Psychologist and Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Public Health in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Chiaramonte is a part of the Yale LGBTQ Mental Health Initiative and conducts community-engaged research that promotes health equity for sexual and gender minorities through organization and system-level change, particularly in the areas of LGBTQ mental health, sexual health, and gender-based violence.

As a community psychologist and implementation scientist, Dr. Chiaramonte works from an ecological perspective conducting research in collaboration with community organizations and/or communities they serve to improve how interventions can be effectively embedded into real-world practice. Her current work focuses on implementing sustainable LGBTQ-affirmative mental health interventions in community settings.
