Biography

Dr. Prasad is a resident in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) from UC Berkeley in Bioengineering. He was a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar and Cal Alumni Association Leadership Award recipient. After graduating, Dr. Prasad was selected as 1 of 30 national Whitaker Bioengineering Fellows and worked for a year at the University of Navarra, Spain. Dr. Prasad earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UC Irvine. During his time in medical school, he worked closely on translational biomedical research with Dr. Brian J.F. Wong, MD/PhD. Dr. Prasad’s ongoing research interests include medical education, bioengineering innovation, and quality improvement.
