Shreya graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in the spring of 2023 with a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a Computing Specialization. While at UCLA, she conducted research in the Multisensory Processing Lab and completed an honors thesis under Dr. Ladan Shams on language, learning and memory. Shreya also worked with the MITRE Corporation and UCLA eHealth Data Analytics and Research Lab as an undergraduate research intern to develop a study centering around the usability of a smartwatch and smartphone application measuring bodily functions and stress of veterans throughout the day. She was an applied behavioral analysis therapist, where she worked with children with ASD. Shreya is now a Sara S. Sparrow Fellow in Clinical Neuroscience in the McPartland Lab. She is interested in the use of rTMS as a form of treatment for depression and its potential for use in other mental health issues. In the future, Shreya hopes to attend graduate school for cognitive psychology and receive her PhD.
