Yale Pathology will have a robust presence at the 113th Annual United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology Annual Meeting in Baltimore March 23 – 28 as more than two dozen faculty members, residents, and fellows have presentations planned.
Members of the department will help moderate sessions, and will present in platform, poster, and evening conferences throughout the five-day event.
Among the highlights are Dhanpat Jain, MD, Professor of Pathology and of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) moderating a session on Liver Pathology Updates sponsored by the Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society, of which he is president; Joanna Gibson, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology and Director of Quality and Patient Safety, Department of Pathology, moderating a Quality and Patient Safety Platform Session; Mina L. Xu, MD, Professor of Pathology Laboratory Medicine, discussing “Diagnostic Challenges in Hematopathology” in a Special Evening Conference; and Sanja Dacic, MD, PhD, Professor of Pathology, Vice Chair, and Director of Anatomic Pathology, presenting in a Hot Topic Session on, “Thoracic Biopsies: Doing More with Less: How Do You Do It?”
Please support your colleagues at the meeting by attending their presentations. If you have additional activities to share, please reach out to Terry Corcoran with updates.
