Biography
Amr is a physician and researcher with a deep-seated passion for gastroenterology, patient care, and research. His medical journey began in Cairo, Egypt, where he earned his M.D. with distinction from Cairo University School of Medicine.
Upon completing his medical degree, Amr had the privilege of joining Yale Digestive Diseases as a post-doctoral research fellow. In this role, he collaborated with renowned experts in the field, contributing to multiple Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) research projects.
Following his fellowship at Yale, Amr started his medical residency at Norwalk Hospital, affiliated with Yale School of Medicine. As an Internal Medicine Resident, he continued his role as a research associate at Yale Digestive Diseases.
