Biography

Dr. Luu completed his BS degree at UCLA where he majored in molecular biology and microbiology. He went on to obtain his MD degree at the University of California, Riverside. While in medical school, Dr. Luu developed a passion for infectious diseases. He was involved in many patient safety and antibiotic restriction committees prior to coming to Yale. His research interests remained focus on antibiotic stewardship, hospital epidemiology and public health.
