Dr. Holly Blackburn, an ACS Resident Research Scholarship Awardee

Dr. Holly N. Blackburn, MD, is an Investigative Medicine Program PhD student, and surgical resident at Yale School of Medicine. She has been awarded one of six Resident Research Scholarships by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for a project entitled, “Delineating the Cellular Origin and Molecular Pathways Driving Intra-Abdominal Adhesions.” Dr. Blackburn will conduct her research under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Flavell, PhD, FRS, Sterling Professor of Immunobiology and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
