Biography

Harrison is a PhD candidate in the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program (INP) currently studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) in the laboratory of Dr. Stephen Strittmatter. There, his research focuses on the identification and validation of potential therapeutic targets as well as the development of novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of AD.

He is one of two student members on the INP Executive Committee, a founding member of the INP Student Affairs Committee and a member of the INP Student Mentors Program. Harrison is also an NIH (NIA) Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) F31 Predoctoral Fellow and a Canaan-Yale Venture Fellow.
