Congratulations to Incoming Department of Internal Medicine 2026 Fellowship Matches
Medical Oncology and Hematology
The faculty in the Section of Medical Oncology and Hematology provide exceptional clinical care for patients with benign hematologic disorders, malignant hematologic diseases, and cancer.
Care is delivered in an academic setting, where ongoing basic research programs related to these diseases aim to translate discoveries from the lab into the clinic, raising the bar for more innovative and effective treatments for cancer and hematologic diseases.
The section is also home to the Medical Oncology-Hematology Fellowship, a 36-month training program that provides comprehensive clinical training in neoplasia and classical hematology, as well as a robust research experience, to prepare fellows for lifelong careers in academic medicine.
Once separate sections, Hematology and Medical Oncology merged in 2025 to maximize efficiency and enhance collaboration among faculty members.
