Leadership and Administration Core Biostatistics Core The Biostatistics Core addresses the multifactorial nature of geriatric conditions.
Operations Core The goal of the Operations Core (OC) is to provide staff, services, and resources to help Yale researchers conduct aging-focused research. The Operations Core includes a Field Component and Data Management and Informatics Component.
Pilot & Exploratory Studies Core The goal of the Pilot/Exploratory Studies Core (PESC) is to advance our understanding of the etiology, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of common geriatric health conditions, as described in the Pepper Center theme, leading ultimately to the development of efficacious and cost-effective interventions to increase or maintain independence for older Americans. Funding may be used for any type of pilot project that will support subsequent grant applications.Research Education Core The goal of the Research Education Core is to recruit a diverse group of early-stage investigators and to promote their growth into independent researchers and thought leaders in the study of multifactorial geriatric conditions.
