The digital version of Murmurs (Volume 8, Summer 2023), the student-run creative journal of health professions students at Yale, is now available online. Launched in 2012, the journal includes poetry, prose, and art created by Yale Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health students. Students Erika Chang-Sing and Madee Ehrenberg edited this volume, while Grace Wang produced the cover art, and Neeta Patel and Claire Hungerford designed the journal.
The Editor’s Note includes the following: “In this edition of Murmurs, we explore uncertainty in medicine and the values that lead our paths. We have asked students: As we learn how to provide care, what guides us? What lines have we drawn for ourselves? When have we felt conflict between opposing principles? We hope you enjoy this edition of Murmurs and all that it holds between the lines.”
