Biography
In 2012, Dr. Deshpande embarked on his tenure at Yale School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor and subsequently established and spearheaded the Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) program. In addition to his extensive medical training, Dr. Deshpande obtained his MBA at Yale School of Management in May 2024, showcasing his dedication to integrating medical expertise with leadership and management skills, preparing him to navigate the complexities of contemporary healthcare.
As Vice Chair of Finance and Strategy for the Department of Anesthesiology, Dr. Deshpande plays a pivotal role in shaping the department's financial and strategic trajectory.
