Jonathan Tefera, MD

Jonathan Tefera is a 4th-year medical student from Charité University Hospital Berlin in Germany. As part of the 'Rising Star' Research Exchange between the Charité University and Yale School of Medicine, Jonathan joined the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale in September 2018. The Rolf W. Günther foundation for Radiologic Sciences supports Jonathan's research through a travel grant.

His research at Yale focuses on the application of machine learning and deep learning software to identify imaging features in CT, and MRI scans that can aid in the early and reliable diagnosis of malignant liver tumors.
