Dr. Dhruv Kansal is a fourth year Internal Medicine Chief resident at Yale Waterbury program. He received his Bachelor's in Medicine and Bachelor's in surgery (MBBS) degree at Maulana Azad Medical College, India.
Following which he worked at GB Pant hospital, one of the leading tertiary centers in New Delhi India, for 6 months in the Department of Cardiology.
He completed his IM residency at Yale Waterbury internal medicine residency program in June 2023 and.
He is actively involved in research projects targeting cardiovascular disease outcomes especially heart failure and impact of medical therapies in this group.
He enjoys teaching and is currently working to expand the point-of-care ultrasound curriculum at Waterbury Hospital. His hobbies include paddle boarding, drone photography, hiking and he especially enjoys cooking.
