Ayodola Adigun, MD completed her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and will work at Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a Psychiatrist at The Mental Health Services. Additionally, she will consult residential facilities in CT and plans to start up her private practice in NY which will focus on the integration of play, art, and movement as therapeutic modalities with medication management. She will continue her movement group, M.O.V.E., which she started at Solnit South, in Brooklyn, for children, adults, and families.
Kammarauche Asuzu, MD has completed her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and will join the CSC as faculty, primarily working on Winchester. “I am excited to remain in the Child Study Center following a really wonderful training experience,” says Dr. Asuzu.
Hiran Cardoz, MD has completed his Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and will be taking a few months off to spend with family. “If social conditions allow,” says Dr. Cardoz, “we plan to make a few summer road trips that my son has been marking up on a big USA map on his wall” — before he enters a full-time position locally.
Linda Drozdowicz, MD has completed her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and after “more than a decade of avoiding getting a real job,” she is now taking two: an Assistant Professor at Yale Child Study Center, where she will be leased like a fine automobile to Blythedale Children's Hospital in NY to do consultation-liaison work; and she will spend the other half of her time with Greenwich Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a private group practice. The third half of her time will be spent at the moonlighting jobs she has “accumulated over the years in an act of poor judgment and inertia.” Dr. Drozdowicz is extremely grateful for the teaching and mentorship she has received at Yale, and she will miss her wonderful co-fellows dearly.
Oscar Gerdner, MD has completed his Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and is thrilled to be staying on at Yale in a part-time capacity while also starting a private practice in Southport, CT and working part-time at the Sasco River Center in Darien, CT.
Shehryar Khan, MD has completed his Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship. He is getting married this summer and then working in an adolescent inpatient unit at Pine Rest in Grand Rapids, MI.
Alicia Londono, MD has completed her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and will be working part-time at Yale Health as a Staff Psychiatrist and Assistant Clinical Professor of the Psychiatry Department. Dr. Londono will primarily see graduate and undergraduate students and participle in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry rounds with the pediatricians. The rest of the time, she will be taking care of baby Benjamin who will soon turn seven months old. She is especially grateful for all the wonderful people she met these past two years at the Child Study Center who have become great mentors and friends.
Colette Poole-Boykin, MD has completed her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and will be moving to Washington DC to serve as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the world's greatest Air Force. “Attending such a prestigious university has been a dream come true,” she says. “I was able to learn from the best while serving a diverse patient population. While at the Child Study Center I have learned many lessons, made lifetime friends, and gained wonderful mentors.”
