What is your role in the Department of Internal Medicine?
As a post award administrator, I manage financial portfolios for principal investigators in the Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism. I am responsible for tasks such as analyzing data, forecasting future financial scenarios, reporting, and budgeting.
What is the most rewarding part of your career?
The most fulfilling aspect of my career is witnessing the impactful work of my principal investigators in revolutionizing the field of medicine through their research. Knowing the struggles faced by my own friends and family, including illnesses like cancer, diabetes, and obesity, fuels my passion. Watching my PI’s explore innovative methods to prolong people’s lifespans and combat these diseases brings me immense satisfaction.
What do you enjoy about working at Yale?
Working at Yale is a joy due to the nurturing environment provided by my team. Their unwavering support since day one has facilitated my continuous growth within my role.
What is a fun fact about you?
I find immense joy in traveling to different countries, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and connecting with people from various walks of life. This exposure to new places and faces rejuvenates me and provides valuable insights into the vast differences that exist between other parts of the world and the U.S.

A piece of advice that has profoundly influenced me is to always remain curious and open to learning from the perspective of others. This advice has been a guiding principle in my personal and professional journey and has shaped my approach to both challenges and opportunities.
