MEDG: Educational Activities and Roles in the Faculty Ladder Tracks

In this session, YSM’s new Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Sam Ball, PhD will define indicators of educator excellence emphasized by the promotion committee and will examine a range of academic activities, especially teaching, considered important for Academic Clinician (AC) and Clinician Educator-Scholar (CES) recognition. A trained mentor and professional coach, Ball will also lead a discussion on the challenges of providing regular feedback and mentoring.
