MEDG: "Teaching, Assessing, and Remediating Professionalism in Graduate Medical Education: Pedagogy, Priorities, and Pitfalls"
Teaching and assessing professionalism is a core component of graduate medical education, but the topic of professionalism is also a source of confusion and angst for educators and learners alike. In this seminar I hope to explore evolving definitions of professionalism in medicine, challenges that arise when we attempt to assess and remediate professional behaviors, and opportunities to work with learners as they prepare to enter the professional workforce.
