The Ambulatory Adolescent Behavioral Health Services team at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH) has been honored with the Program of the Year award from the Association for Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare (AABH).
The award, presented at AABH’s 56th Annual Training Conference in April, was attended by hospitals and behavioral health organizations from across the country that provide Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
The YNHPH team’s winning submission featured Compassionate Home, Action Together (CHATogether) Family Intervention, a care innovation developed and led by Eunice Yuen, MD, PhD, associate medical director, Parent and Family Development Program, Yale Child Study Center, and assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine.
“Congratulations to the entire CHATogether Family Intervention team for being recognized by this honor,” Yuen said. “I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support from leadership, trainees, patients, and their families to walk this journey together.”
