Dr. Yeh graduated from Harvard College in 1997 with a degree in biochemical sciences. She then returned to her native Bay Area, California to attend medical school at Stanford University. She finished her studies at Stanford in 2006 with a MD and a PhD in biomedical informatics. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She completed her dermatopathology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco in 2011 and did a postdoctoral fellowship with Boris Bastian, MD, PhD. Her research focuses on genetic discovery in melanocytic tumors, the incorporation of genetics and histopathology in classifying melanocytic tumors along evolutionary pathways, and identification of potential therapies using preclinical models.
