Set Yourself Up for Success: An Introduction to Library Resources for YSPH Students (Online)

Registration is required. Click here to register.

Join Kayla Del Biondo, Simbonis Librarian for Public Health, in this interactive workshop, where you will learn how to set up Yale Links in Google Scholar and PubMed for seamless access to the full text of articles. Whether you're a new or returning student, you’ll learn the benefits of creating a free account in PubMed and other health science databases, like the ability to save searches and create email alerts. Kayla will also demonstrate some of her favorite features of citation managers– like the group library feature of Zotero, and the cite while you write (CWYW) component of EndNote. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the workshop, and they are bound to walk away feeling more confident about finding, saving, reading, and citing public health literature. This workshop is meant to connect public health students with public health liaison librarians but is open to all students and researchers at Yale.
