Postdoctoral Associates
We are looking for postdoctoral associates to join the Yale Biomedical Imaging Institute with a focus on preclinical and clinical biomedical imaging.
Potential responsibilities involve working with preclinical animal models, preclinical and clinical PET or MR imaging, image analysis, kinetic modeling, data analysis, and results dissemination. The successful candidate will have the chance to receive comprehensive training from experts in the diverse range of fields covered by our faculty.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have some prior hands-on experience in preclinical or clinical biomedical imaging. However, interested candidates with a strong computational background and interest in getting involved in biomedical imaging and preclinical models are also strongly encouraged to apply. A PhD in biomedical engineering, physics, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be expected to plan imaging studies, conduct them together with a team of other scientists and research technicians, and lead the data analysis. They will be trained by their mentors on all different aspects of their work. The successful candidate will – based on their research interest – have the option of participating in a variety of studies conducted at the Institute.
