Carolyn Mazure to receive award for leadership in higher education

Carolyn Mazure, Ph.D., the Norma Weinberg Spungen and Joan Lebson Bildner Professor of Psychiatry and Professor of Psychology, and director of Women's Health Research at Yale, has been chosen to receive the 2015 CT American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network, Distinguished Administrative Woman in Higher Education Leadership Award. This award is presented by the CT ACE Women’s Network to honor women who have distinguished themselves as administrators providing outstanding leadership to women in their institution, in their profession, and in society at large.

The nomination by Dean Robert J. Alpern, M.D., acknowledged her outstanding leadership in women’s health research and commitment to making a significant difference in the lives and careers of women in academic medicine.

The Distinguished Woman in Higher Education Administrative Leadership Award will be presented at the CT ACE Women’s Network Fall Conference to be held on Friday, November 6 in New London.
