Renato Polimanti, PhD

Postdoctoral Associate in Psychiatry

I am a genetic epidemiologist with demonstrated experience in genetic of complex traits, genotype-phenotype correlation, pharmacogenomics, evolutionary biology, and computational biology. Over the course of my career, I have investigated a wide range of different topics related to human biology using genomic data. As a postdoctoral scientist in the group of Dr. Joel Gelernter, my current projects focus on the pathogenic mechanisms of alcohol- and drug-associated diseases using various types of genomic data.
