Biography
I am currently a postdoctoral associate at Yale School of Medicine. I obtained my PhD degree in Medical Systems Biology from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in Jan 2022. During my PhD, my research covered three main aspects of cancer epigenetics, including histone modification regulation, DNA methylation, and non-coding RNA regulation, under the supervision of Dr. Wenqiang Yu. My PhD thesis project focuses on the epigenetic regulation of RNA metabolism, especially the effects of histone modifications on pre-mRNA alternative splicing.
During Jan~Aug 2022, I worked at a biomedical start-up as the director of the Creative R&D Department, focusing on developing early cancer biomarkers as well as commercial kits/devices to make the biomarker/service available to the public.
In late Sep 2022, I joined Dr. Qin Yan's lab at Yale Pathology as a postdoc. Currently, my research focuses on identifying druggable epigenetic regulators essential for breast cancer metastasis and developing novel strategies to enhance the efficiency of cancer immunotherapy.
